寛政12年（1800）序。寛政11年序の本もあり、補訂は文化4年（1807）まで続いた（『日本歴史地名大系』「蝦夷島奇観」、コトバンク）。東京国立博物館本（重要文化財）は「江戸時代・寛政12年(1800)」（文化遺産オンライン）。北海道大学附属図書館本には年記がない。
